It positions suppliers of goods, works or services to win contracts by demonstrating you are Exor Qualified. Exor Qualified proves your business has been accredited to standard where competency, viability and adherence with legal requirements have been achieved.
There is no better way for a supplier of goods, works or services to position your business to win contracts in the Public & Private Sectors, by demonstrating you are Exor Qualified. Exor Qualified proves your business has been accredited to standard where competency, viability and adherence with legal requirements and current codes of practice are assessed.
Exor uses a set of standards that have been developed over the past ten years in consultation with clients to become an accepted criteria for qualification for Public and Private sector Clients. Being Accredited to the Exor Qualified Standard is more than a Pre-Qualification check, traditionally used by the public sector, the Exor Qualified standard can mean that you do not have to fully complete PQQs and with many of the Authorities Exor work with you will be automatically qualified and be in a position to tender for business.
Where Exor are operating the COPROP scheme, this scheme is run to the same exacting standards as Exor’s own Qualification Scheme.
Qualification Schemes:
- 'Bronze', involving checks at Companies House and Experian, and the storing of relevant insurance details for the business. This level is only applicable to suppliers with whom the authorities have a low level of spend; it cannot be used to obtain work for consultants or contractors or for high value contracts.
- The next level of accreditation, 'Bronze Plus', allows contractors involved in high-risk work to be accredited for low-value work, as this level of accreditation includes a full health and safety assessment.
- A key area of assessment for those companies applying at 'Silver' level or above is compliance with equal opportunities legislation. Exor uses criteria for this assessment based on the latest codes of practice of the Commission for Racial Equality, Equal Opportunities Commission, and the Disability Rights Commission; a set of criteria recently approved by a representative for ACAS. Exor approval for equal opportunities shows that a business is aware of current employment legislation, of their responsibilities as an employer, and of what they need to do to promote fair and equal treatment for all of their staff and potential employees. 'Silver' level is appropriate for suppliers and consultants, and allows businesses to carry out a greater value of contract or a greater amount of public sector work each year than those accredited at 'Bronze' level.
- 'Gold' level accreditation involves detailed checks on the financial history and viability of the business, equal opportunities and environmental management assessments, the sourcing of references, obtaining full details of insurance levels held, and, if applicable to the type of work carried out, a full health and safety assessment is undertaken by our independent, fully qualified consultants. If it is required by a particular public sector client, we can offer an assessment of a business' suitability for, and experience of, working in occupied dwellings. This assessment covers issues such as cultural and religious requirements, appointing a suitable liaison officer, and the security and safety of residents.
