Exor EO Employment Appraisal

Exor provide clients with an Equal Opportunities reporting service. The Race Relations Act specifies that all public authorities and organisations have a duty to promote racial equality. This duty also applies to the procurement of goods, facilities and services.

An Equal Opportunities Appraisal must satisfy a number of specific criteria, depending on the number of people employed by the business. Exor uses a set of assessment standards based on extensive research into the latest anti-discrimination legislation, and codes of practice and guidance issued by the Commission for Racial Equality, ACAS, The Disability Rights Commission, and the Equal Opportunities Commission. While the assessment previously covered only racial/ethnic equality, we now assess policies to ensure that the businesses have procedures in place for preventing and dealing with discrimination on any unlawful grounds, including disability, gender, ethnic or national origin, race, religion, sexual orientation and age.

The appraisal requests a declaration of any prosecutions or tribunal cases related to unfair dismissal or discrimination, which is verified against the IDS database.
