Exor are an approved Scheme Operator of TrustMark. TrustMark operates under licence from BERR (formerly the DTI) and is supported by consumer organisations, the building trade and a wide range of scheme operators.

Exor is a compliance organisation that allows all types of business to secure the TrustMark badge of quality. The TrustMark standard covers all areas of ‘repair, maintenance and improvement’ market for domestic homes.  Both inside and out. The primary focus is to set and maintain standards for traders that offer services to this market and to clearly demonstrate the gulf between the trustworthy operators and the cowboy trader. TrustMark is a standard that ensures that applicants have a proven and viable trading history, work to high standards and are subject to an onsite inspection.

Exor are also working closely with Trading Standards organisations within local government to extend the understanding of the TrustMark standard in the local area and enable SME contractors to be selected for smaller works within the council and local area. In difficult economic times, the public are increasingly more selective in the traders that they are choosing to work on their homes and the TrustMark badge of approval can often be the deciding factor in the decision making process.
