Exor eAuction
A buyers experience of online reverse auctions can be mixed; they can be expensive to use and the tools are invariably all-encompassing, complex and intrusive.
Exor run simple, cost-effective eAuctions on behalf of their customers using a stand alone product which is delivered at a competitive price. It is attractive to both purchasers and suppliers in its ease of use and it focuses on competitive bidding through the auction to reduce prices. It is designed, run and owned by procurement professionals with real knowledge and understanding. If you take up the option of having a hosted event we provide training and support throughout the auction to all parties involved, ensuring a smooth and effective process.
Benefits of running an Exor eAuction
• It drives improvements in the preparation and planning of the tendering process, and with a tighter specification comes simplified supplier selection.
• It provides an opportunity for suppliers to submit revised bids for a contract (as opposed to the formal tendering process) and therefore saves substantial negotiation time and money.
• The site expects and encourages competitors to focus on each other’s pricing, providing increased market knowledge for buyers and suppliers and promoting competition.
• The Audit Trail produces invaluable benchmarking information and all the necessary detail for concluding the contract negotiation – keeps suppliers honest!
• The Auction process from start to finish is fully supported by a small, dedicated team that designed and built the site. Training and support is available to both suppliers and purchasers.
